The DataScience@UB group, the founding member of the BCN.ai initiative, was born with the aim of turning Barcelona into a center for debate, discussion and reflection on Artificial Intelligence.
Jordi Vitrià, participated on the first day in the framework of the thematic Strategy & Deployment, and was part of the round table Expertise in House & Big Data Teams, in which he presented his paper “Connecting talent with companies: a look from the trenches “. The congress has been, for the third consecutive year, the meeting point for professionals, suppliers and companies that want or are carrying out projects in the Big Data & Data Analytics field, extracting value from the data. It has been, once again, a space to explain what is being done in Barcelona and the rest of the world in the field of Big Data.
DataScience@UB is part of the team led by the startup 8Wires, which has obtained a contract of 75,000 euros in the first phase of the call for the European Live Incite competition, which leads the Swedish Hospital Karolinska, along with other hospital centers like the Clinic of Barcelona.
