There is no Such Thing as a Certain Prediction

With all its inherent difficulties, anticipating the behaviour of personal accounts is a challenge that holds a special place in any modern platform of intelligent banking services. For this reason, we have been investigating in collaboration with BBVA D&A the best way to tackle this problem. This week we have presented some results in the Workshop on Machine Learning for Spatiotemporal Forecasting as part of the NIPS 2016 conference. Our contribution is entitled “Evaluating uncertainty scores for deep regression networks in financial short time series forecasting”.
